Position Summary
The Member Services Specialist plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Association. This position provides outstanding customer service to members, assists with events and communications, and helps ensure efficient administrative processes.
You’ll be the friendly first point of contact for our members — answering questions, and managing membership applications that support REALTORS® in their business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to members in person, by phone, and by email
- Maintain membership records
- Support meetings, events, and educational programs
- Assist with marketing and communications
- Perform other administrative and member-support tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Google Suite and general office technology
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
- Prior experience in customer service, office administration, or association management
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds on occasion

Work Schedule and Location
This position is part-time and based in Elizabeth City, NC, at the AAR office. Typical work hours are Monday–Friday, 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (hours are negotiable) with optional occasional evening or weekend events.
